The egg-stealing loop
The official game description identifies taking eggs from fish as the collection route. Treat each attempt as two tasks: reaching the egg and completing the game's return or deposit flow. A target that looks valuable is only useful if you finish the run.
Exact controls, pursuit rules, and location requirements are not listed in the public description. Follow the prompts in your current server rather than assuming a keyboard key or a fixed speed requirement.
A repeatable approach
Scout before collecting
Locate an egg, look at surrounding fish and player traffic, and work out the simplest return toward your base.
Read the live information
Check any name, requirement, warning, or value the game actually shows. If the route is unfamiliar, start with a smaller attempt.
Take the egg
Use the current interaction prompt. Confirm the pickup visually before turning toward your planned return.
Finish the deposit
Follow the game's base and hatching flow. Check that the egg or hatch is recorded before beginning another run.
When an attempt keeps failing
Separate travel from navigation. If you get lost, practice the route. If you cannot move comfortably through it, train in the pool before trying again. If player traffic changes the risk, choose another route or wait for a clearer attempt.
After a failure, lower the difficulty of the next test. Repeating the same attempt without changing speed, path, or timing usually does not tell you what needs improving.
A useful route note
- Where you started and returned.
- The egg label you actually saw.
- Your swim speed at the time.
- Whether pickup and deposit both succeeded.
Recorded pickup and return
In GameWala's September 7 footage, approaching an egg brings up Steal. A later pickup shows SWIM!! and Drop, followed by a return across a boundary labeled SAFE ZONE and a You Stole Fish Egg! notification. The sequence makes the return a separate part of the attempt, rather than treating the first pickup as the finish.
These are labels visible in that recording, with approximate timestamps. Use your current game's prompts; the footage does not establish a universal attack range, pursuit time, or device-specific control.
Diagnose where the run stops
| Target | Useful check | Next adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| Before pickup | Does the target show an interaction prompt or an unmet requirement? | Read that prompt before repeating the approach. A visible egg alone does not confirm access. |
| After pickup | Can you identify the return direction without stopping to search? | Practice the landmarks on an easier trip and choose the path before taking the next egg. |
| At the base | Does the collection or hatch interface show the egg? | Complete the displayed deposit flow and inspect the recorded result before leaving again. |
| In a busy area | Did another player's actions change the attempt? | Separate that interruption from a movement problem; try a clearer route before buying an upgrade. |
Compare completed runs, including the failures
Time an attempt from leaving the base to finishing the deposit, rather than timing only the outward swim. Keep failed attempts in the same record. Otherwise a spectacular pickup can appear efficient even when most attempts do not produce a hatch.
For a hypothetical route test, two completed deposits out of three attempts represent a completion rate of two thirds. That is a summary of those attempts, not a future success probability. Compare a second route under similar conditions before deciding which one to repeat; short observations can be distorted by player traffic.
Questions about this step
Which button collects an egg?
Use the interaction displayed in your current game. The official description supports mobile and console, so a keyboard-specific instruction should not be assumed to apply to every player.
Should I immediately retry a failed pickup?
First identify whether access, return navigation, movement, or another player caused the problem. Change that part of the attempt so the retry teaches you something.
